Tessentee Bottomland Preserve is a 70-acre tract of bottomland and river bluff land at the junction of Tessentee Creek and the Little Tennessee River. The property is conserved and managed by Mainspring Conservation Trust and is stop#53 on the on the NC Birding Trail with the preserve’s bird list at 157 species. We hope to see Yellow-breasted Chats, Indigo Buntings, Common Yellowthroat, and more. Meet at the Tessentee Bottomland preserve parking area at 8:30 am.
